PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR IPA MELALUI METODE PRAKTIKUM BERBASIS NHT DI KELAS VIII SMPN 1 MANGUNJAYA
Abstract
The problem behind this research is the problem of learning science in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mangunjaya, namely the low achievement in learning science. This can be seen from the results of students' cognitive learning in daily tests on the circulatory system material in the previous school year, students who achieved learning mastery above the KKM were below 50%. This study aims to determine the increase in science learning achievement through practicum using the Numbered Head Together (NHT) model in class VIII SMPN 1 Mangunjaya. This study used a quasi-experimental method (quasi experiment) with a one group pretest posttest research design. The population in the study were students of class VIII SMPN 1 Mangunjaya with a sample of 28 students for class VIIID. This is evidenced by an increase in daily test results on the circulatory system material, obtained an average pretest data of 30.00, an average posttest of 84.64, and an average N-gain of 0.8 with learning completeness above 50%, namely 82.14%, so that an increase student learning outcomes are included in the high category and there is an increase in science learning achievement so that this research is said to be successful.
