UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENGANALISIS UNSUR INSTRINSIK NOVEL DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE JIGSAW

Abstract

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena Pengalaman hasil pembalajaran pada siswa
MTs Negeri 1 Kuningan Kabupaten Kuningan bahwa kemampuan siswa
menganalisis unsur intrinsik novel belum optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu
untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menganalisis unsur instrinsik novel siswa kelas
VIII-A MTs Negeri 1 Kuningan. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini di rencanakan pada
semester II tahun ajaran 2022-2023 dengan jumlah siswa 42 orang. Penelitian ini
menggunaka metode penelitian tindakan kelas dan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa
penerapan metode jigsaw dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menganalisis unsur
instrinsik novel pada siswa kelas VIII A MTs Negeri 1 Kuningan tahun ajaran 2022-
2023. Peningkatan tersebut dibuktikan dengan pada siklus I diperoleh adalah
66.6%, pada siklus II diperoleh 90%.

ABSTRACT
The background of this research is because of the learning experience of students at
MTs Negeri 1 Kuningan, Kuningan Regency, that the ability of students to analyze the
intrinsic elements of novels is not optimal. The purpose of this study was to improve
the ability to analyze the intrinsic elements of novels for class VIII-A MTs Negeri 1
Kuningan. The implementation of this research is planned for the second semester of
the 2022-2023 school year with a total of 42 students. This study used the classroom
action research method and it was concluded that the application of the jigsaw
method could improve the ability to analyze the intrinsic elements of the novel in
class VIII A students of MTs Negeri 1 Kuningan in the 2022-2023 academic year. This
increase was evidenced by the fact that in the first cycle it was obtained was 66.6%,
in the second cycle it was obtained 90%.
