PENERAPAN MODEL CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA
Abstract
This research is motivated by the low level of students' speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects that need to be improved, namely that students are able to achieve a score in accordance with the specified KKM, namely 76. The main aim of this research is to determine the improvement in speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects through the application of the Contextual Teaching model. and Learning. The research subjects were 36 students in class VIII E of SMPN 1 Ciawigebang, consisting of 16 men and 20 women. The method used is the classroom action research method. From the results of improving learning through the application of the CTL model to improve speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects in class VIII E at SMP Negeri 1 Ciawigebang, Kuningan Regency, which was attempted through learning over 2 cycles. The results of this research show that the level of speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects through the application of the CTL model has increased. The average score for the class was 86, 34 (94%) students completed, 2 (6%) students did not complete, the highest score was 100, the lowest score was 60.
