PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SUPERVISI KOLABORATIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL GURU DI MTS NEGERI 11 KUNINGAN PROVINSI JAWA BARAT TAHUN PELAJARAN 2025-2026
Abstract
This study aims to improve teachers' professional competence in developing learning materials and teaching materials through the implementation of a collaborative supervision approach. The study used a school action research design implemented in two cycles: pre-supervision, supervision implementation, and post-collaborative supervision. The subjects were 49 teachers at MTs Negeri 11 Kuningan. Data were collected through collaborative supervision process observation sheets, teacher professional performance observation sheets, and field notes, then analyzed descriptively using quantitative and qualitative methods. The results showed that teachers' professional competence in the pre-cycle obtained an average score of 52.27, categorized as poor. After implementing collaborative supervision in the first cycle, the average score increased to 70.45, categorized as sufficient. Improvements to the supervision process were made in the second cycle by strengthening teacher coordination and preparedness, resulting in an average score of 88.64, categorized as good. This improvement indicates that the collaborative supervision approach is effective in continuously improving teachers' professional competence through the principles of collaboration, collegiality, partnership, openness, and flexibility.
