PENGARUH PENGUASAAN KOSA KATA DAN TATA BAHASA INDONESIA TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS EKSPOSISI SISWA KELAS X SMKS PLUS MULTAZAM, PANAWANGAN, KABUPATEN CIAMIS
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of mastery of Indonesian vocabulary and grammar on the exposition writing ability of class X students of SMKS Plus Multaza. This research is an ex-post facto research. The research subjects were class X students of SMKS Plus Multazam by taking a sample of 32 students. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling technique. Vocabulary, grammar, and writing exposition data were collected using an aptitude test. Item validity and reliability tests were carried out using the Iteman program. The data analysis technique used is product moment correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The error level of the analysis results is determined at 5%. The results showed that there was a joint positive and significant influence on the mastery of Indonesian vocabulary and grammar on the exposition writing ability of class X students of SMKS PLUS MULTAZAM indicated by an F value of 10.950, a regression coefficient (R) of 0.245, and a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.060 . This means that 6% of exposition writing ability is influenced by vocabulary and grammar mastery, while the remaining 94% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
