KAJIAN SPIRITUAL ISLAMI DALAM NOVEL PEREMPUAN BERKALUNG SORBAN KARYA ABIDAH EL-KHALIGI (Studi Analisis Semiotik untuk Mendapatkan Bahan Ajar di SMP/ MTs)

Abstract

This study aims to describe the symbols and meanings of Islamic Spiritual symbols contained in the novel Perempuan Berkalung Sorban by Abidah El-Khaligi. Are the symbols and meanings of the Islamic spiritual symbols contained in El-Khaligi's novel perempuan berkalung sorban relevant to the teaching materials for appreciating sarta in MTs. The method used in this study is the analytical method: Data symbols and symbol meanings that have been found using the review tool 1, to then be described in order to answer the first main problem in this study; and data relating to the elements of teaching materials for reading literature found in Abidah Al-Khaligi's female manuscript with a turban necklace using review tool 2, to then be described in order to answer the second main problem in this study. The results of this study can be concluded that the symbols contained in the nover perempuan berkalung sorban by Abidah El-Khaligi show no natural relationship between the signifier and the signified. Meanwhile, the meaning of the symbols contained in Abidah El Khaligi's novel Perempuan Berkalung sorban shows metaphorical things that refer to literary conventions and the novel Perempuan Berkalung Turban by Abidah El-Khaligi meets the criteria for selecting teaching materials for reading literature at MTs.
